Following the collaboration of Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KHFT) and Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare (HRCH) an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director of Finance – Financial Management (8D) has arisen.
This role is a key member of the senior finance team responsible for providing expert financial support and strategic direction in relation to all aspects of Financial Management to Trust Directors and senior management whilst supporting the Deputy CFO – Operations. You will also collaborate with colleagues across the South West London Sector to work on projects and business cases, shaping the overall solution, whilst ensuring the best interests of KHFT and HRCH.
The successful applicant will be a fully qualified member of a CCAB body with a solid background in financial management, have good communication and leadership skills with a focus on continuous improvement within financial management, able to manage change and inspire a team to be forward thinking and progressive.
This role involves all aspects of Financial Management, leading the Trusts financial management processes to meet the Trusts objectives, working closing with the AD for Financial Accounting and Control and AD for Income Costing and Contracting and AD for Workforce Information to ensure an accurate and joined up position is reported for financials, activity and workforce as well as building good relationships with clinical and operational divisions, translating complex financial messages to non-finance individuals.
You will lead on the financial planning and budget setting processes and forecasts for the Trusts with one eye on achieving the financial targets across the service. You will provide a consistent approach to cost pressures and savings and be responsible for providing high quality financial reporting for the Trusts internal and external stakeholders. You will lead on the development of business cases and facilitate effective decision making backed up with robust financial information.
Your role will involve developing the finance function and you will be responsible for the Heads of Finance (3) as well as the Finance Business Partners (9) aligned to the clinical divisions, encouraging a culture of initiative and innovation whilst managing change, with a focus on continuous improvement and the delivery of high-quality patient care.
This role has Trust wide oversight where your opinion will be valued, your contribution encouraged and is an opportunity to develop strategically and operationally whilst impacting the Trusts direction.
