What do you want to be famous for?
Giles started I&E (originally Interim Professionals) with the view to bring a better, more human, quality led approach to Healthcare recruitment. Now, more than 10 years later, we have grown to be a market leading business that is still driven by our core values of quality and integrity.
In a world that is striving for ever increased automation and computer dependency I like to think there is still room for a human led solution to a human discipline such as recruitment and it is the people interaction that makes all the hard work worthwhile and as such an incredibly rewarding sector, job and company to be involved in.

The harder I work the luckier I get
Nicola’s recruitment career started in 1998 and is still going strong. After a successful career at Michael Page and a 10-year stint growing the NHS business at Allen Lane, Nicola joined i&e Professionals in 2016. Nicola has established and grown i&e Professionals interim finance business, and in 2018 founded our permanent search function, consolidating our capabilities as a leader in both interim and permanent NHS financial recruitment.
She is a firm believer in hard work, commitment and strong values. Nicola works closely with the NHS finance network to provide solutions in interim, permanent and projects as well as leading our finance division. Driven by the lack of female senior leaders in NHS Finance, Nicola joined forces in 2020 with Zoe Pietrzak of NHS England and established the Women in Leadership for Finance Network (WILF) to drive positive change by highlighting the gender imbalance in senior roles. During the 2012 Olympics I was mistaken in my local park for the Olympic heptathlete Jessica Ennis-Hill whilst wearing sports gear.

I always ensure I have both my clients and candidates’ best interests at the forefront of my mind, aiming to achieve the best outcome for everyone.
Jo started her career at Michael Page, recruiting finance professionals into Industry & Commerce. She then moved to an in-house team within Australia’s largest investment bank, Macquarie Group in Sydney. After seven years in Australia Jo transferred back to London to become Macquarie’s Head of Recruitment for EMEA. Jo joined i&e Professionals in 2012 as their Head of Corporate Affairs’, a role that largely fulfilled back-office duties such as managing payroll and invoicing, using her organisation and efficiency skills to their full potential.
She took up a full-time role as a consultant in 2021 where she combines her experience, maturity and a consultative approach to provide a high-quality service to both clients and candidates, with a genuine desire to find a solution that is right for all stakeholders.

Daniel has over 14 years’ experience recruiting into the NHS in both clinical and non-clinical fields. He is a seasoned recruiter, passionate about finding the right roles for some of the most talented individuals in the NHS. His background has always been in public sector healthcare. He chose to work in our sector as he feels the NHS is the greatest healthcare system in the world, and is driven by making a positive difference to it.
Daniel is at his best when working in fast-paced environments and excels when managing multiple projects simultaneously, never losing sight of the most important element of his work – building relationships. He is motivated by supporting talent and watching them thrive and thrive from assignment to assignment. He prides himself on his personable and empathetic approach and is driven to do the best for both his candidate and clients. His mantra is “If you are going to do something then do it right”.

I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.
Natalie is an experienced recruiter with over a decade of experience working within the healthcare sector. She focusses her time on supporting clients from South of the River Thames down to the South coast with operational and transformational solutions.
Having successfully managed teams for several years at a large multi-sector recruitment company, Natalie wanted to move back closer to the coal-face of recruitment, turning her experience and passion for the healthcare system into a strong personal brand. In February 2021 she joined i&e Professionals because of their excellent reputation for providing an uncomplicated and consultative service to both clients and candidates, delivered by consultants who are always willing to go that little bit further to help. Natalie thrives on working with clients to provide solutions for critical operational roles, complex transformation programmes and quality improvement projects.

The only difference between try and triumph is a little extra umph
Gillian is originally from Scotland but relocated to London in 1995. She keeps payroll running as efficiently as possible so that our weekly pay run can always be relied upon. She started out as an actor in London’s West End having trained at the Royal Academy of Music. Her career highlights include Les Miserables, One Man Two Guvnors, ENRON, singing for the Queen at Windsor Castle and being Elton John’s backing singer at the Royal Opera House.
After taking time away from performing to raise her two children, Gillian took the opportunity to change career direction and in 2019 joined i&e Professionals. She happily runs payroll administration and our back office, aiming to ensure that everything is as efficient as possible. Gillian is a regular gym go-er and relishes being physically fit and strong. She is a fan of the ‘go hard or go home’ approach and loves nothing more than a HIIT class to kick start her working day.

As a 10-year-old, I had my own (unsuccessful) 5-aside football team.

Before that Jenny worked in Government Administration in Sweden, giving her a strong understanding of the needs and demands of the public sector from within. She is an integral part of our talented and experienced team who specialise in recruiting finance professionals.
Jenny joined us at an exciting time, expanding and developing our junior financial market at i&e Professionals. Throughout her career she has gained a reputation for her communication skills, ability to build strong relationships with clients and for supporting candidates in their career moves. Karen joined Interim Professionals in the Summer of 2016 after taking a career break to raise her two children. Prior to this, she worked as cabin crew for Flybe for eight years, working her way up to the role of senior purser & base manager.
She was excited at the opportunity for a change in career when joining the team at i&e Professionals as a credit controller. She thoroughly enjoys her role and nothing brightens her day more than when invoices are paid. Having previously worked in the customer services sector she is passionate about good client relations and building up a good rapport with client partners at all levels. Karen is the epitome of organised and drives administration standards within the business. When she is not looking after credit control, Karen spends her time running and is rather addicted to Metafit.

My dream career as a child was to work for the Air-sea rescue (especially being dangled from a winch over rough seas).

Vera joined i&e Professionals in early 2023, having completed a law degree and more than a year working in the NHS team of another recruitment company. Vera’s journey at i&e Professionals started in our operational support team to modify and enhance our compliance processes and after 6 months, Vera moved into the Finance team to develop her career as a recruiter. Vera’s skills range from being our resident Fulham FC fan to being our social representative, a title she wears with pride. Vera’s energy, natural warmth, commitment to excellent customer service, high standards and her competitive spirit ensure that her clients and candidates are in safe hands.

Dom started with i&e Professionals in September 2023, having been in corporate recruitment for 2 years prior to that. He joined i&e Professionals as he shares the same beliefs and passion towards the healthcare system as the rest of the team. His previous experience has provided him with the tools required for the demands of public-sector recruitment.
Dom joined the business to expand our governance team, with a strong focus on all thing’s governance, nursing, quality, and risk. Throughout his career, Dom has built a reputation for his ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and clients.

I have over five years experience in recruitment, having most recently come from a role heading up Public Health recruitment into Local Authority. Now responsible for looking after the permanent arm of recruitment for i&e Professionals, I want to continue finding the best solutions for my clients and the best opportunities for my candidates.
I pride myself on having always been very people-centric and love having the opportunity to interact with different individuals on a day-to-day basis. Andrew is an experienced senior leader within the NHS, having been a CEO of a trust for 6 years, and a Regional Director twice, once for the South of England and more recently for London. Andrew has an excellent understanding of NHS and wider health policy, systems and drivers, complex budgets, commissioning, provision and regulation.
Andrew works with i&e Professionals to help drive our Project Delivery and Statement of Work services by overseeing our Programmes of Work and ensuring the highest standards of delivery. His collaborative solution and delivery focus make him perfectly suited to helping NHS Organisations through the most challenging of times.
