Exciting new chapter!

Although I have only been with Interim Professionals for six months, my time here has already felt hugely significant and has most recently led to a very exciting leap in my career.

I joined the business’ back-office team to help establish a stronger compliance function, and now that we have successfully implemented this, I felt I had reached a cross-road in my own personal role here and what I wanted the next stage to look like. I have been a part of the NHS Recruitment world for two years and have absolutely loved it. Being involved in the public sector isn’t only interesting and fast-paced, but it also carries a lot of responsibility and the ability to make a recognisable change. Combined with my background in law, I have always aimed to choose a career that would allow me to be there for others as someone they can rely on. I’m therefore so glad that my initial exposure to recruitment was also attached to the public sector as I could really see how this would satisfy my own goals.

A huge factor that contributed to my decision to move into recruitment was the Finance team that I would be joining here. I had absolutely no doubt that although I would be embarking on a huge challenge and steep learning curve, Nicola and Joanna would be the best mentors that I could hope for. The longevity of their experience combined with their prestigious reputation definitely filled me with confidence. They also have a genuine desire to see me do well and succeed which has made me feel totally at ease. I love the dynamic of our team and now that Jenny has recently joined us too, I think we have formed a fabulous group and it has made me really excited about the future and what we can achieve.

I feel incredibly fortunate to be starting this new challenge with i&e. I have huge respect for the consultants and their professionalism and I have already learned so much from them. I know I will be supported all the way through this next phase and I can’t wait to see where it leads. I just hope I still get to keep hold of my tile of Social Sec for as long as possible!
